                                                                            Dating to the early / middle part of the 20th century, this stunning 2 piece French oak Buffet / dresser is in very good condition.
This type of dresser is unique to the Coutance area of Lower Normandy where they have been made for a couple of centuries.
The bottom section would have been used for pots and has a decorative apron and 3 frieze drawers all of which have their original iron drop handles.
Moving on up, there are 2 plate shelves each with a fretted gallery.
The top which would have been used as a larder has a single shelf to the inside and is enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with iron handles and early pierced tin inserts.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern..
The Buffet measures;
base; 48 inches wide, 18 inches deep and
25 inches high 
top is; 7.75 inch shelf depth, 15.5 inch cupboard depth with an over all height of the whole dresser being 81.5 inches.
The cost to deliver this Buffet to  England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow to Edinburgh) is £75.00.
