Description
Dating to the first 20 years of the 20th century, this superb Belgian Arts & Crafts armoire is crafted in solid oak and is in excellent condition.The armoire will come completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs. It stands on short bracket feet and has 2 plinth drawers which both run with ease and have later brass handles.
To the inside of the armoire there is a single adjustable shelf with hanging rail below. This is enclosed with a pair of beautiful carved and moulded doors with their original bevel edge glass and original working lock. Commensurate with it's age, the glass does have some very minor pitting and the drop handle is a later addition.
This is all complimented with a fine raised fretwork cornice and extended carved and moulded finials.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern...

87.25 inches high over all.
