Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this lovely German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will split down in 2 for ease of getting it upstairs....Standing on turned bun feet, the wardrobe has a full width plinth drawer which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and has it's original knobs.
To the inside there is a new horizontal hanging rail fitted which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with original handles and working lock.
This is complimented with a traditional ogee cornice and decorative knees .......
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is mainly to the back boards and has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures;
44.75 inches wide / 49 to outside of cornice
21.25 inches deep max / 23.25 to outside of cornice 18.5 inches internal
71 inches high plus pediment.
