Description
Dating to the late 19th century, this super stripped pine 2 piece dresser is in very good condition.Standing on plinth, the base section has 2 separate areas each with a single shelf to the inside and are enclosed with twin panel doors complete with original cupboard turn knobs but for ease there is also a couple of sprung catches fitted. Above this the 2 frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have cup handles and run with ease.
The dresser rack has 3 shelves and is finished with a fine moulded cornice and decorative plate stays to the front..
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the dresser. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
This is a lovely piece of English furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.

9.75 inches deep with an over all height of the whole dresser being 87.5 inches..
