Description
This French bed dates to the early part of the 20th century and is in good all round condition..Upholstered in a good quality studded velor fabric, the bed stands on traditional stylized escargot feet with a stained beech frame which has been refinished at some point. The fabric is all good with no damage or significant marks.
The decorative mould to the head and foot board is further complimented with the serpentine side rails which bolt in to the head and foot boards to give a very firm and secure fixing.
The bed comes complete with a custom made 2 piece wooden slatted base..
This bed will take a modern standard 60 inch by 78 inch king size mattress and measures to the outside;
62.5 inches wide
83 inches long
46 inch high head board
29 inch high foot board
